Computer Lessons - How it works
Before your first lesson, I will ascertain what your learning requirements are and ensure that your computer is set up correctly for the tasks you will need it for. You would be surprised at how often they are not!
I make the lessons very flexible. Their duration is usually between 1 or 2 hours. You are welcome to book several lessons or you may feel you just need the one. Taking the lesson at home means your learning can fit around your daily schedule.
The lesson will be tailored to your exact need. For example, you may want to learn how to start researching a family tree online, or learn how to send an email. The lessons will include practical exercises, which I am quite happy for you to repeat as many times as you need to ensure you feel comfortable with the task.
Normally I will demonstrate the task in hand and then you will attempt to replicate it. I will calmly guide you through it verbally and of course we can take notes as we go. Many of the subjects we may cover will also include documentation which you can use after the lesson as a reminder.
By taking a computer lesson in the privacy and comfort of your own home, the stress of the classroom vanishes and the learning becomes enjoyable and more effective.
